Singaporeans, get ready — Malaysia's most famous sambal has officially crossed the Causeway
Yup, the legendary Village Park Nasi Lemak Sambal, known for its fiery, fragrant kick that burns just right, is now available exclusively at FairPrice Finest stores across Singapore.
If you've ever queued up at Village Park in Damansara Uptown for that perfect plate of nasi lemak with crispy ayam goreng and addictive sambal, this one's for you.
Now, you can relive that magic without crossing the border.
Singaporeans (and Malaysians who've migrated south) can finally bring home that same sweet, spicy, savoury goodness in a jar.
This marks the first time Village Park's signature sambal has been sold outside Malaysia
After becoming a top seller at Jaya Grocer and Everrise last year, the brand decided it was time to share the love — or more accurately, the burn.
The initiative is part of Grab's Signatures Private Label programme, which helps local F&B legends bottle up their cult-favourite dishes.
They've already teamed up with Malaysian favourites like K Fry, KGB, and Inside Scoop, turning fan-favourite meals into retail-ready products you can enjoy at home.
The sambal comes in Original and Lagi Pedas (extra spicy)
Each 225g jar is priced at SGD6.95 (RM22), with an intro promo of SGD6.50 (RM20) running until 30 November.
For a limited time (until 9 November), shoppers at FairPrice Finest will also receive a free Village Park mug with every jar purchased, while stocks last.
According to Chuen Jein Tay, Head of Deliveries and Commercial at Grab Singapore, the goal is simple: "Singaporeans travelling to KL often stop by Village Park for their famous nasi lemak, and now chilli-lovers can enjoy the sambal at home, pairing it with their own meals."
The sambal is currently available at all 41 FairPrice Finest outlets across Singapore and on GrabMart delivery starting 10 November.
