If your IC happens to have the number '30' in it, IKEA has a little treat waiting for you this week
To celebrate its 30th anniversary in Malaysia, IKEA Malaysia is giving away free cake to customers who have a '30' in their IC number.
The giveaway will take place on 16 May 2026 at IKEA stores nationwide, and all you need to do is show your IC at the store to redeem it.
According to the promo announcement, the offer is limited to the first 100 in-store customers only, while stocks last
The brand shared that the giveaway is part of its wider 30th anniversary celebration in Malaysia.
"For 30 years, IKEA has been part of life at home in Malaysia, from first visits filled with ideas to bringing home that first flat-pack," the company said.
It added that the anniversary campaign will also include in-store activities, limited-time promotions, and special food offers to celebrate "30 years of everyday living at home" with Malaysians.
So if your IC has the magic number and you're already planning an IKEA trip for meatballs, furniture browsing, or a random "just looking" session that somehow ends with candles and storage boxes in your trolley… you might as well grab a free slice of cake too.
