South Korean Fast Food Chain LOTTERIA Is Opening In Malaysia This Year

South Korean fast food chain LOTTERIA is set to open its very first outlet in Malaysia this year!

According to Bernama, Lotte GRS, a subsidiary of Lotte Group, has partnered with local retailer Serai Group to bring the brand to Malaysian shores as part of its overseas expansion into Southeast Asia.

The announcement, made on Wednesday, 6 August, confirmed that a master franchise agreement has been signed.

Lotte GRS also revealed ambitious plans to open 30 more outlets across the country over the next five years

If you didn't already know, LOTTERIA is known for its Korean-inspired fast food offerings, especially burgers.

First launched in 1979 in South Korea, the brand now has over 1,300 outlets worldwide, including in Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, and Mongolia.

Among its popular menu items are the Kimchi Bulgogi Burger, Hanwoo Bulgogi Burger, Shrimp Burger, Jeonju Bibim Rice Burger, and many more

The exact location for the first outlet in Malaysia and its official menu have yet to be announced.
