Single Malaysian Men Working In KL Can Apply For DBKL’s RM200/Month Furnished Housing

Residensi Belia Cheras is now accepting applications from eligible men, offering fully furnished units with sports and community facilities.

Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) has opened applications for Residensi Belia Cheras (RBC)

Through RBC, the city council is providing fully furnished housing units for single Malaysian men, aged 18 to 40, who are working or undergoing industrial training in Kuala Lumpur.

Each unit comes with basic furniture and access to:

  • Surau
  • Sports facilities
  • Multipurpose hall
  • Security guard house
  • Lift

Rental is set at RM200 per month for standard units, while units for persons with disabilities (OKU) are available at RM130 per month.

Residensi Belia Cheras is conveniently located just 120m from the Cheras LRT station, within easy walking distance.

Applicants must meet several eligibility requirements

They must be Malaysian citizens, single (unmarried), aged between 18 and 40, employed or undergoing industrial training in KL, and don't own a home within 35km of the city centre.

Applicants must also have a monthly income of not more than RM4,000.

To apply, applicants are required to upload their documents in WinRAR or WinZip format

These include:

  • Passport-sized photo of applicant
  • Copy of original identity card (JPEG)
  • Certificate of single status (from employer, JPN registrar, imam, or community leader)
  • Latest salary slip
  • OKU card (if applicable)

DBKL said incomplete applications, such as those with missing attachments or that don't meet eligibility requirements, will not be processed until all necessary information is submitted.

Applicants will be notified of their application status via their registered email.

Applications can be submitted online at eperumahan.dbkl.gov.my.

There are 490 units available for rent.
