2. Special themed performances and activities for Deepavali and Halloween
Three different dance groups are part of the performance lineup: ASWARA, the Malaysian Bhangra Group, and the Malaysian Punjab Entourage. Each group will be showcasing their own signature dance style in a mix of traditional and modern dance performances, all in celebrating the festival of lights.
RIUH is also collaborating with SareeOnMovement to host fun activities such as a special saree exhibition, one-on-one sessions on saree-tying, saree live painting, and interactive kolam making.
There will also be a special Halloween segment for kids. Happening only on Saturday, you can dress your kids up in costumes for the trick-or-treat event as well as let them participate in some fun games.
The best costume/best dressed kid will stand a chance of winning a mystery gift!
3. Food galore!
From local dishes like *nasi kerabu*, *nasi dagang*, *mee jawa*, and *rojak*, to Mexican food, poke and smoothie bowls, and even some locally-made cheese, you'll definitely want to have a little bit of all the delicious treats that RIUH will have to offer.
And of course there'll also be some yummy Deepavali favourites: *briyani*, *apam*, *puttumayam*, and plenty of Indian sweets, mmmm!
Make sure to go on an empty stomach!
