Many of us are blessed with the necessary means and resources, with access to education and financial support to help us succeed in life. However, the same can't be said for everyone.
This is where Malaysia's Dignity for Children Foundation comes in, breaking the cycle of poverty and help provide the best education for those in the greatest need for over 10 years.

Through their latest project called Project B, a collaboration between The BIG Group and the Berjaya Cares Foundation; they aim to empower the children through vocational education and transform them into contributing members of society

Project B is a cafe staffed and fully run by the children, under the guidance of all partners. This programme serves as a platform for them to gain work experience, harness their skills and potentially discover their talents.

The participants of Project B are children from socially and economically underprivileged families, aged between 17 to 20 years old, lacking adequate finances and support from their families. However, they have unharnessed ability and have the potential to make significant contributions to the nation's future.
This programme provides them with holistic development by allowing them to train their skills in the food, beverage and service sector. They are able to improve their life skills, boost their self-esteem and maybe even discover they have the gift for it.

Located in Sentul, where most of the Dignity for Children schools are situated, the cafe is fully equipped with the necessary means for training, operation and self-sustaining the enterprise
The Berjaya Cares Foundation has generously offered a premise to house the training kitchen and café for the programme. The premise is fully equipped with all the kitchen equipment necessary to efficiently operate a café. It is a functioning and self-sustainable enterprise that is fully run by the children, under the tutelage and supervision of all partners.

Project B recently launched on 2nd June with its #ProjectFriedChicken menu, featuring three different styles of fried chicken: Signature Crunch, Sweet and Sticky Korean Fried and Ayam Goreng Berempah
Diners can choose to get their fried chicken as an a la carte item or as a combo. A variety of sides and beverages are also available. Some other notable chicken side dishes available include their Thai-style chicken wings and Buffalo wings.

Proceeds from the cafe go back to Dignity for Children Foundation, to sustain the programme, and to continue providing help and education to the underprivileged and less fortunate children

Also launched in conjunction is Project Sentul, an online magazine presented by Project B featuring curated content and stories about Sentul, its people, heritage and culture
Art pieces featured on the online magazine will also be displayed at the Project B cafe. Some items will be available on sale to the public.
