1. Breakfast Thieves @ Bangsar (pork-free)

An offshoot of the Melbourne's café of the same name, **Breakfast Thieves** offers Asian-inspired Australian brunch dishes such as The Legend (spicy baked eggs with beef salami, onion jam and okra), Breakfast Chain (cheddar soldiers with soft-boiled eggs), and Mr. Terry Benedict (eggs Benedict with braised beef cheeks, honey apple compote and yuzu hollandaise). Make sure to try BT's the Magic, a double ristretto topped with steamed milk.

2. Bean Reserve @ Bangsar (pork-free)

Independent specialty coffee roasters aside, **Bean Reserve** also prides themselves as one of the pioneers of nitro cold brew coffee and tea in South East Asia. The café's own-roasted Colombian-Brazilian house blend and Cereal Milk flavours, are also bound to make an impression.

**Botanica Deli** – a healthy, refreshing addition to Bangsar South's food scene – offers 'crafted' sandwiches and salads as well as warm soups of the day. You can ever customise your own salad from their selection of fresh ingredients which includes edamame, grapes, and candied pecans.

4. Merchant's Lane @ Petaling Street (pork-free)

Located above an old shop next to ATC, **Merchant's Lane** currently serves a simple menu of fusion food that includes aglio olio served with an option of prawns or chicken rendang and Cantonese-style Hongkie Beef Stew. Also, check out their interesting beverage choices such as jasmine black coffee and rose honey milk.

Making its home in the lovingly restored Mah Lian Hotel, **Chocha Foodstore** offers a Malaysian-inspired menu featuring signature dishes such as kerabu mango slaw, cincalok fried chicken, Chinese pesto flat noodles, and ulam raja crème brûlée.

Currently a temporary fixture at BBCC's sales gallery, **Boxes Café** is definitely an Insta-worthy location with its colourful containers and ever-changing external environment. The café offers fusion fare that includes assam pedas steak sandwiches, ayam percik burgers, prawn curry linguine carbonara, and even a nasi lemak and sushi roll combo.

**Dotty's** fancy pastries have been the talk of the town for awhile now, thanks to its Salted Egg Cronut – a crisp croissant-doughnut hybrid stuffed with molten salted egg yolk custard. Other baked goods worth trying include the Salted Egg Yolk Doughnut, Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Cronut, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cuboid.

Established in 1972 in South Melbourne, Australia, **Cottle Coffee** has now reached Malaysian shores with an outpost in Damansara Uptown. The café also serves as a retail hub for Cottle's premium coffee beans as well as coffee-making accessories and home coffee machines.
