The star of the show was the much-loved Golden Prosperity Burger. It is back to remind everyone that the New Year is best celebrated together.

This marks the second phase of McDonald's Prosperity campaign, which first kicked off in November 2025 at KL Tower

It sent a message that true prosperity isn't measured by what you have, but who you have. That sentiment carried on in Bukit Bintang, where thousands gathered to make new memories around a timeless tradition.

For decades, McDonald's has been part of Malaysians' milestones, and this year's Prosperity journey stayed true to that

From purpose-led events supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to a golden New Year's countdown in the heart of KL, the campaign has been about celebrating meaningful moments together.

"Prosperity isn't about what we have; it's who we have," said Melati Abdul Hai, Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer of McDonald's Malaysia.

"In November, we invited Malaysians to share meaningful moments and give back together. Tonight, in Bukit Bintang, we're continuing that journey into the New Year with the Golden Prosperity Burger, a celebration of togetherness, warmth, and community."

"Seeing families and friends reunite across both phases of the campaign, from KL Tower to Bukit Bintang, reminds us that true prosperity grows when we share it. We look forward to creating even more feel-good moments across Malaysia in 2026," added Melati.

The Golden Prosperity Burger was not the only highlight of the night
