Meeting a global wrestling legend isn't something most people expect to tick off their bucket list… let alone their 2025 bingo card
But that's exactly what happened to Malaysia's very own pro wrestler, Nor 'Phoenix' Diana, who recently crossed paths with none other than John Cena.

In an Instagram post that immediately surprised fans, she wrote: "Meeting @johncena wasn't on my 2025 bingo card. Still surreal that I got to learn from one of the greatest ever… Just being invited was already a blessing… learning from the GOAT is truly priceless."
Nor Diana is widely known as the world's first hijab-wearing professional wrestler

She started wrestling as a teen under Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MyPW) and quickly made a name for herself with her agility, grit, and signature hijab in the ring.
She's tiny (under 155cm!) but never underestimated. In 2019, she shocked the local scene by becoming MyPW's Wrestlecon Champion, defeating male wrestlers and proving that size means nothing when you've got fire.
Since then, she's earned a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia and even made her US debut with Reality of Wrestling (ROW) in Texas.
Cena's appearance happened during Lodestone 2025, a multi-day women's wrestling seminar and camp in Florida aimed at experienced independent women wrestlers

This camp was established to nurture emerging talent, offering them mentorship from seasoned WWE veterans.
The event attracted a star-studded roster this year, featuring wrestling icons such as Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Natalya, alongside rising stars like Roxanne Perez, Maxxine Dupri, Lyra Valkyria, and coaches TJ Wilson and Tyler Breeze.
Cena made a surprise, unscheduled appearance and stayed for nearly eight hours. He dedicated his full attention to the athletes, observing approximately 10 women's matches during his visit.
This unexpected visit came just days before his highly anticipated retirement match on 13 December against Gunther, leaving those at the camp completely shocked.
