A Malaysian baker just lived out the most magical (and mildly chaotic) moment at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore

KL-based baker LinLin Cake, also known as Charmaine, was invited to the Wicked yellow-carpet event at Universal Studios Singapore on 13 November, and decided that she had to bring something special.
So, she hand-crafted a stunning Wicked-themed cake and literally flew it across the border in hopes the cast would see it.

Speaking exclusively to SAYS, Charmaine shared that she barely slept while preparing the cake
"I didn't sleep the whole night decorating this cake to catch my 7.30am flight. I left for the airport at 4.30am, but started decorating around 11pm till 3am," she told SAYS.
She even hand-carried the cake onto the plane. "It was an early morning flight, so luckily it wasn't too hot — the cream didn't melt."

"Yesterday was such a dream," she later wrote on Instagram. "I made a cake and flew it over hoping to get the @wickedmovie cast to see it… It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
And everything was magical… until it wasn't
To catch a glimpse of the cast, Charmaine waited four hours, standing in the rain alongside hundreds of other fans.
"I was so grateful to be there, but it was a really long wait and it rained. My designated area had no roof," she told SAYS. "The team took care of us really well though."

But the excitement was short-lived. All of a sudden, a man jumped the barricade and rushed straight towards Ariana Grande.
Viral videos show him grabbing her in a tight hug, causing Grande to recoil in shock.
Fellow cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately stepped in to shield her, while security tackled the man and threw him back over the barricade.

The man was later identified as serial event intruder Johnson Wen, notorious for crashing concerts and even the Paris Olympics men's 100m final.
Due to the incident, fans, including our Malaysian baker, lost their chance to interact with the stars for safety reasons
"Everything happened so fast when they walked by. Unfortunately, Ariana and Cynthia didn't stop to greet the fans after the incident, which was a disappointment to many," Charmaine shared with SAYS.
"I hope the organisers will take legal action against the man who did this," she added.

Despite the chaos, Charmaine remained thankful for the opportunity: "I'm still very grateful to Resorts World Sentosa, Traveloka, UIP Malaysia, and UIP Singapore for having me and my bestie at this wonderful event."

According to several reports, Wen, a 26-year-old Australian, has since been arrested and is reportedly charged in court for public nuisance today, 14 November.
If convicted, he faces up to three months in jail, a fine of up to SGD2,000 (RM6,300), or both. He could also be deported and barred from entering Singapore.
