In case you didn't know, Lembah Lenggong has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2012.

It is one of the most important archaeological regions in Southeast Asia, being the spot where Perak Man — the oldest and most complete skeleton in Southeast Asia (around 11,000 years old) — was found.

However, it wasn't until recently that Lembah Lenggong has gained recognition as a tourist destination, and much of it has to do with Nash's aspiration for his old kampung.

In collaboration with OCBC, Nash tells the story of how one man's dreams can uplift an entire community

Watch the full video below:

When former hotelier Nash returned to his hometown of Lembah Lenggong, he found a community struggling despite the area's UNESCO World Heritage status.

That's when he decided to turn his ancestral home into a guesthouse. At the same time, he rallied the villagers to turn their food, tradition, and culture into visitor experiences.

By turning Lenggong's rich heritage into an experience for visitors near and far, he not only created new opportunities for local livelihoods but also gave his community a renewed sense of pride.

This transformation reflects OCBC's belief that 'Purpose is about lifting others'. By supporting individuals like Nash, the bank shows how personal aspirations can lead to collective progress, and success is always much sweeter when shared.

His journey is proof that when one person is empowered, an entire community can rise together.

Ultimately, OCBC believes that purpose becomes most powerful when it's shared, and stories like Nash's reminds us we can #SamaSamaBangkit
