KyoChon has officially closed its outlet at Sunway Pyramid after almost a decade

The popular Korean fried chicken brand ended operations at its Sunway Pyramid branch, which had been running for nine years.
In a statement to SAYS, Sunway Pyramid confirmed that KyoChon "has permanently ceased its operations at the mall".
The management thanked the brand for being part of its tenant mix and said it looked forward to welcoming new food and beverage outlets to continue enhancing the dining experience for visitors.
Meanwhile, KyoChon explained to SAYS that Sunway Pyramid's Marrakech area is undergoing upgrades and tenant refreshes
As part of this, the fried chicken brand said they are "taking this as a temporary break until a suitable relocation is found", adding that "nothing is available just yet".
The chain added that they want to resize the outlet for "an even better dining experience" in the future. They also pointed out their ongoing expansion in other areas, with new outlets currently under renovation at IOI City Mall, Verve, and Imago.
"So, don't worry, KyoChon isn't going anywhere. You'll still find us nationwide and on GrabFood," the brand reassured.

Sushi King and Beryl's will be opening in Sunway Pyramid soon where KyoChon used to be.
