KyoChon Chicken has closed its outlet at The Gardens Mall after six years in operation

The brand announced that its last day at The Gardens Mall was Sunday, 15 March 2026, thanking customers for their support over the years.

In a message shared with customers, the restaurant reflected on the many moments created at the location.

"Six years, countless meals, and many great memories at The Gardens Mall. Thank you to everyone who has visited us, supported us and made this outlet part of your KyoChon moments."

According to the brand, the decision comes as more Malaysians are ordering KyoChon via delivery and takeaway rather than dining in

As a result, the company said it is focusing on restaurant formats and locations that better match current dining habits, which increasingly revolve around quick pickup and delivery options, including via platforms like Grab.
