It's not another store closure announcement. It's actually something to celebrate.

The popular local coffee chain is taking a one-day break today, 23 October 2025, to mark a major milestone: the opening of its 1,000th outlet across Malaysia and Singapore.

They're taking a collective breather to celebrate how far they've come

In a heartfelt statement, ZUS Coffee thanked customers, affectionately known as Zuristas, for helping them grow from one humble kiosk to nearly 1,000 stores nationwide.

"Every one of our 999 outlets exists because of you… But we couldn't open the 1,000th outlet without pausing to appreciate how far we've come," the brand shared in its message.

So, yes, ZUS Coffee is closed today, but only for one day.

The company says it's using the time to celebrate this achievement with its team members and partners who made the journey possible.
