If you've noticed a few Luckin Coffee outlets in the Klang Valley temporarily closing, there's a reason behind it

The China-based coffee chain recently announced that several outlets would close temporarily due to overwhelming demand for its latest promotion.

On 30 and 31 October, Luckin Coffee offered all drinks at RM3.99 to celebrate the halal certification of two of its outlets.

However, "due to the high volume of orders", the company said it may temporarily close some outlets until existing orders are fulfilled.

"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

"As 31 October marks our final halal celebration promotion, we recommend placing your orders early to secure your favourite drinks while stocks last," Luckin Coffee shared yesterday, 30 October.

Some netizens reported noticing a few outlets were closed, and it is unclear when they will reopen.
