Gucci’s New Sneakers Looks Just Like The Dirty School Shoes We Used To Wear

The Gucci sneakers probably cost a few thousand ringgit. :O

It's official – we're never gonna understand high fashion.

Italian luxury brand Gucci recently unveiled their latest collection of dandy suits and fancy bags paired with some reeeally familiar-looking sneakers

Apparently, chunky scuffed sneakers "coated" with grime and/or scribbles are in this season. Just ask [Balenciaga](http://assets.vogue.com/photos/592f1d212309396cb649eb54/master/w_660,c_limit/03-embed-sneakers.jpg) and [Vetements](http://assetsprx.matchesfashion.com/img/product/outfit_1080965_1_large.jpg).

Here are some close-ups of the sneakers. Just… look at them for a moment:

We don't know about you, but those Gucci sneakers totally look like the not-so-white shoes we used to wear to school…

… And we're certainly not the only ones who think so. Several Malaysians actually pointed out the resemblance in reply to a Twitter post about the new high fashion kicks:

The Gucci school shoes are not officially on sale yet, but you can expect it to go for a four-figure price tag, judging from the price range of their current sneakers collection

According to its [official online store](https://www.gucci.com/us/en/ca/men/mens-shoes/mens-sneakers-c-men-shoes-sneakers), Gucci's men's sneakers are priced **from USD560 (RM2,389.24) to USD1,100 (RM4,693.15)**.
