After over a decade as one of Petaling Jaya's most recognisable hangout spots, The Gasket Alley is entering a new chapter
The industrial-style lifestyle hub will be rebranded as JAM PJ starting 1 April 2026, with new management taking over the space.
But it's not the end of the road for the venue or many of the businesses that call it home.

According to JAM PJ's spokesperson, most of the current shops will continue operating at the location even after the rebrand
Some of the businesses expected to stay include Murky Wines, Dirt Army, Hejau, Futuremade Studio, Butterfly Florist, Jonnie's Bodega, Coffee Boy Club, Halo Doughnuts, Makhan by Kitchen Mafia, and MacMax.
Meanwhile, automotive-related tenants Venturi Motors and Headers are expected to remain for a few more months before moving out.
One brand that has confirmed its departure is The Good Stuff, which will be vacating the venue.

Alongside the rebrand, the venue is also expanding into a connected building, which will bring in a fresh lineup of shops and concepts
Some of the new names joining the space include Sonny Bagel Shop, Justslay, Tenn Racquet Club, Sunseed, Guehme Pastry, Gerai, The Coffee, Ruits Juices, HdPc, Have A Nice Day Shop, W Gallery, and Cyberground.
Some of these businesses have already started operating, while others are expected to open soon.

Before the rebrand officially begins, the space will close the Gasket Alley chapter with a community event called 'The Last Run'
Taking place on 28 March, the event will feature a 3km lap around the venue, inviting people to run or walk the route together as a final tribute to the space and the community that shaped it.
The symbolic send-off reflects the role the venue has played in bringing together creatives, entrepreneurs, and hobby communities, from weekend markets and car gatherings to fitness meetups and brand activations.

Since opening in 2015, The Gasket Alley has grown into one of Petaling Jaya's most distinctive creative hubs, known for its container-style layout and warehouse aesthetic
Over the years, it has hosted everything from early editions of RIUH to car meets, pop-up markets, workout sessions, and collaborations with local brands.
While the name may soon change, the space itself isn't disappearing, and with JAM PJ stepping in, the venue looks set to continue evolving as a hub for community, creativity, and new ideas.
