Gardenia Singapore has unveiled a brand new flavour and it's one that's bound to turn your daily breakfast or tea-time into a little taste adventure

As of 1 October 2025, Gardenia Singapore has rolled out its Matcha Azuki Loaf, combining earthy matcha with the smooth sweetness of azuki red beans.

For now, there's no news of it hitting Malaysian shelves just yet.

In Japan, the matcha and azuki combo is everywhere, from mochi to dorayaki, and even shaved ice desserts

Matcha adds a slightly bitter, earthy richness while azuki beans balance it out with a gentle sweetness.

Gardenia's new loaf takes that café-style pairing and makes it everyday-friendly, turning a slice of bread into something a little more indulgent.

Lucky for Singaporeans, it's now a staple at supermarkets or bakeries that stock Gardenia products across the island.

While Gardenia Malaysia has plenty of beloved flavours, there hasn't been any announcement about whether the Matcha Azuki Loaf will make its way across the causeway

For now, it's a Singapore-exclusive, though knowing how Malaysians love their bread (and their matcha), there's definitely hope it'll arrive here too.

Until then, the only way to try it is to bring back a loaf the next time you make a trip down south.
