Fuiyoh! Uncle Roger's at IPC has reportedly closed down since its launch in December 2024
According to a recent update by Malaysia Shopping Mall on Facebook, the Uncle Roger fried rice outlet space at IPC Shopping Centre is reportedly taken over by Focus Point, with a new store expected to open in May.

If you didn't already know, the restaurant is owned by Malaysian comedian and Internet personality Nigel Ng, aka the face behind the viral Uncle Roger character, known for roasting bad fried rice attempts online

The eatery became a bit of a hotspot thanks to its no-frills, straight-to-the-point menu, with crowd favourites like the signature egg fried rice and kimchi fried rice.
At the time of writing, there has been no official statement from Uncle Roger or his team about the closure, nor any confirmation of the reason behind it.
While the IPC outlet is reportedly no more, you can still get your fix at several other locations around Malaysia, including:
– Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
– MyTOWN Shopping Centre
– Central i-City
– Mid Valley Megamall Southkey
