If you're craving home-cooked food that tastes just like your grandparents' cooking, Bonet Lauk Wak Usop in Subang Jaya, Selangor might be just what you need
Speaking to SAYS, the pak cik, known as Wak Usop, said he has been selling these kampung-style dishes from his car boot for more than 20 years.
"I cook everything myself. I don't like other people cooking for me. If it's too salty or bland, I take responsibility because I cooked it myself," said the 76-year-old.
He said he used to operate a stall at a district office in SS16, but after it relocated, he continued his business from his car boot, attracting customers from all walks of life.

Wak Usop prepares all the dishes at 7am
"I cook from 7am, Monday to Thursday. I start selling from 11.30am, and by 1pm, I'm usually done and head home.
"I always cook dishes like sambal tempeh, ayam masak merah, and asam pedas, but the menu changes — there's always something new. I sell at Menu Rahmah prices and sometimes charge even less as a form of charity.
"That's how I share my blessings with others and friends. That's the only way I can give," he added.
