CHAGEE has officially stepped into the matcha chat with something big
The modern tea brand just launched its First Harvest Matcha Series in Malaysia, marking its first-ever matcha lineup and also its debut matcha release across Southeast Asia.
There are three matcha drinks now available at all CHAGEE Malaysia outlets nationwide:
- Signature Matcha Latte
- Pistachio Matcha Latte
- Oreo Matcha Frappé
CHAGEE is using first harvest spring matcha, which means the tea leaves are picked during the first and finest harvest of the year when they're at their most tender and nutrient-rich
The result is a smoother, less bitter taste with a deeper umami flavour.
The leaves are also shade-grown for over 20 days before harvest, a process that boosts chlorophyll levels and increases amino acids, giving the matcha a more balanced profile.
To top it off, the matcha is ground to a super-fine 1,000 mesh powder, creating a silky texture that blends smoothly for a consistent sip every time.
"We wanted our first matcha to be something we could stand behind with full confidence. Every decision, from the harvest timing to the grind, was made with quality in mind, it's not just a trend," said Lucia Kwan, head of branding and marketing for CHAGEE Malaysia.
The Matcha Series is available now at all CHAGEE Malaysia outlets, priced at:
- RM13.90 — Signature Matcha Latte
- RM15.90 — Pistachio Matcha Latte
- RM20.90 — Oreo Matcha Frappé
