25-year-old Allyson Ee, a chemical engineer from Johor, was crowned Miss International Malaysia 2025 on Monday, 15 September

Ee's confidence stood out among the 11 finalists during the finale at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, earning her the crown and the honour of representing Malaysia at the global Miss International stage in Tokyo later this year.

She also took home a cash prize of RM10,000.

Ee expressed her excitement to showcase Malaysia's diversity on the world stage

"I'm so excited to represent Malaysia. I want to show that Malaysia's culture is rich and vibrant, and the world can learn from our unity and diversity," Ee told BERNAMA after the ceremony.

Ee shared that she quit her job as a chemical engineer to fully focus on the pageant

"This is definitely a dream-come-true moment for me," she said about winning the pageant, adding that she may go back to being an engineer, or continue in pageantry afterwards.

In 2025, she also participated in Miss Universe Philippines 2025, thanks to her Malaysian-Filipino roots, where she won the National Costume Award. And in February, she also sat on the judging panel at the Miss Caloocan 2025 in the Philippines.
