From random AI cats rapping on your feed to full-blown dance trends, chances are you've already been swept up in SKAI ISYOURGOD's Internet takeover… even if you didn't know his name

Now, the 27-year-old Guangdong rapper, also known as Lǎn Lǎo, is coming to Malaysia for not one but three live shows as part of his world tour.

These are his show dates:
29 August and 19 September (Kuala Lumpur)

1 November (Sabah)

For now, only the 19 September gig has official details. It's happening at Pitt Club KL inside The Life Centre, Jalan Sultan Ismail.

The August KL show and the Sabah stop are still under wraps, so fans will have to hang tight for ticket drops and venue updates.

Born in Guangdong, SKAI ISYOURGOD has five million Spotify fans, overtaking Mandopop titan Jay Chou, who's sitting at 2.9 million (No shade, Uncle Jay, we still love you.)

Not bad for someone who blew up less than a year ago.

His breakthrough came with the August 2024 album Stacks from All Sides. Tracks like Blueprint Supreme, Karma Code, and the title song became instant TikTok fodder, spawning challenges that spread from Shanghai to Subang.

What started as niche Chinese rap suddenly became the soundtrack to global meme culture.

Even if you don't understand a word of Mandarin, the rhythm and energy carry through. Plus, when you add viral visuals like cats rapping along, you don't really need subtitles.

Malaysia is just one pit stop on his global tour, which also includes the UK, France, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar

So far, he's sold out venues in London, Auckland, Yangon, and Sydney, a strong hint that tickets here will move fast once they're announced.
