Let's be honest here, we all text ourselves right?

Whether it's to take a note of some important work details or save a heartwarming text from that special someone *wink wink*, texting ourselves can help us remember the important things.

Fortunately, WhatsApp is making this easier for us now.

Called 'Message Yourself', this new feature lets users send texts to their own chat box on WhatsApp

It's also easy to access! All you need to do is to click on the 'New Chat' icon on your WhatsApp home page.

Your chat box will appear at the top of the list. Then, you can go ahead and proceed to text all important details through that chat box, whether it's shopping lists, work details, addresses, and so on.

Do keep in mind that the feature has not been updated to all devices yet! According to TechCrunch, the Meta-owned instant messaging app announced that the rollout of the new messaging feature will gradually reach all its Android and iPhone users in the coming weeks.

Previously, one of the workarounds to texting yourself on WhatsApp was to create a group and then removing the people you added in

The 'group' will then turn into a private chat room all to yourself. :p 

Fortunately, WhatsApp's new update has less steps and is more convenient too!
