Travelling soon? Touch 'n Go (TnG) eWallet has just launched its new Visa Travel Card, and it's basically a levelled-up version of the existing TnG Visa Card, but with extra travel perks.
This new card is made for Malaysians who love shopping, eating, and exploring abroad.
You'll get up to 3% unlimited cashback on overseas spending, 0% foreign exchange (FX) markup, and one free international ATM withdrawal every month.

Here's how the cashback works, in plain English
TnG Digital is running the 'Visa Card Holiday Cashback 3.0' campaign from 15 October to 31 December 2025, where you can earn cashback based on how much you spend abroad.
It uses a tiered system:
- Spend RM2 or more → get 0.5% cashback
- Spend RM150 or more → get 1.5% cashback
- Spend RM300 or more → get 3% cashback
The cashback goes straight into your eWallet once the transaction clears.
So, for example, if you spend RM320 or more overseas in a single transaction, you'll get RM9.60 back

One of the best things about this card is the 0% foreign exchange markup
That means if your purchase overseas is USD10 (around RM42), that's exactly what you'll be charged. No sneaky extra fees or weird conversions.
Plus, if you make at least one physical overseas purchase in a month, you'll get one free international ATM withdrawal.
After that, it's RM10 per withdrawal. Still, having that one free withdrawal can come in clutch if you need emergency cash abroad.
The Visa Travel Card costs RM20 to apply (RM15 for the card + RM5 delivery fee), and it has a yearly fee of RM8, waived for the first year
You can only apply through the Touch 'n Go eWallet app, under the 'Visa Card' section. Once it's delivered and activated, you can use it anywhere that accepts Visa, whether it's a café in Tokyo or an outlet store in Paris.

If you already have the older TnG Visa Card, don't worry because activating the new Travel Card will automatically deactivate the old one.
Some fine print before you start spending like crazy
The cashback applies only to physical overseas transactions, so things like online shopping, crypto, insurance, fuel, or eWallet top-ups don't count.
However, there's still a treat for online spenders, you'll get 1% cashback every Wednesday for international online purchases.
