Malaysian Pokémon enthusiasts who failed to secure items from the highly sought after Touch 'n Go (TNG) Pokémon Special Edition series will soon have another opportunity to bolster their collections
Following an overwhelming response during the initial rollout, TNG has officially confirmed on Facebook that it will be restocking the limited-edition range, which first made waves across the country in October.
While the official announcement stopped short of naming every specific product returning to the shelves, the promotional imagery accompanying the post prominently featured the entire Pokémon-themed lineup. This suggests that fans can expect a comprehensive restock covering the various forms of payment technology the collaboration introduced.

Central to this return are the Pokémon Special Edition TNG cards, which originally debuted in December
These cards were released in four distinct designs, each showcasing a legendary fan-favourite: Charizard, Lucario, Mimikyu, and the iconic Pikachu.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these cards serve as fully functional transit and payment tools equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. This allows users to top up their balances directly via their smartphones using the TNG eWallet application.

In addition to the standard cards, the restock is expected to include the sought-after Pokémon charms and RFID tags
These items previously sparked significant interest due to their unique form factors, blending pop-culture collectibles with practical utility.
During the initial launch, individual cards were priced at RM25; however, TNG also introduced value bundles. One such package, priced at RM70, included a themed charm and a complimentary tote bag, though it remains to be seen if these specific promotional bundles will return in the exact same configuration.
While the confirmation of the restock has generated considerable excitement, TNG has yet to provide a definitive date for the relaunch
Based on previous release patterns, the products are expected to be made available primarily through the official TNG online store on Shopee.
Potential buyers are advised to monitor official channels closely, as previous batches of these special edition items sold out within minutes of going live.
