The #JomLokal Booster Stimulus Package is designed to help local sellers cut costs, gain more visibility, and upskill, making it easier for them to compete in the ever-growing world of e-commerce.

Eligible MSMEs — those with fewer than 200 monthly orders and under RM1,000 in monthly sales — will enjoy:

  • RM1,000 commission fee waivers for up to 120 days. This dedicated support for MSMEs currently participating in the #JomLokal initiative is separate from the commission fee waiver under TikTok Shop's New Seller Kickstart Programme, which is open to all new sellers on the platform.

  • RM50 advertising coupons to promote their products

  • Sponsored ad placements on TikTok's in-app search banners that appear when users search for relevant keywords. This will continue to drive greater exposure and traffic for local MSMEs all-year-round, by tapping into the growing trend of Malaysian shoppers using TikTok Shop's search features for both discovery and deliberate shopping.

  • Free access to TikTok Shop LIVE Hubs (up to 10 sessions, two hours each). Advance bookings via the official account @stesenliveiks are required, which are subject to availability based on a first-come-first-served basis.

On top of that, TikTok Shop will host workshops, creator matchmaking events, and webinars to help sellers level up their online business skills.

"Since 2023, the dedicated resources and exposure provided to thousands of Malaysian MSMEs under our always-on #JomLokal initiative has consistently driven sustainable growth for Malaysian-made products," said Nur Azre Abdul Aziz, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at TikTok Shop Malaysia

"With the new RM20 million #JomLokal Booster Stimulus Package, we are deepening our commitment to maintaining an inclusive e-commerce ecosystem by reinvesting into Malaysia's digital economy and our local community," she added.

At the #JomLokal Booster Stimulus Package launch event, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, YB Senator Datuk Dr Hajah Fuziah shared how the move supports Malaysia's digital-first ambitions.

"Malaysia's vision of becoming a digital-first nation rests on the readiness of local entrepreneurs to embrace innovation. The #JomLokal initiative is a meaningful step in that direction and showcases how industry players can help alleviate operational costs for local MSMEs to participate in the digital economy," she said.

She also noted that beyond boosting sales, the campaign builds a more inclusive, patriotic, and competitive society by highlighting Malaysian-made products.
