If you have ever felt the burning gaze of a nosy stranger on the LRT while replying to a spicy text, Samsung might have just solved your problem with the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra
Early code and leaked visuals from the Samsung Tips app confirmed a brand-new feature called 'Privacy Display'.
It's a clever bit of tech that turns your screen into a built-in privacy protector.
According to the leaks, the Privacy Display feature makes your screen less visible when viewed from a side angle
This means you can keep banking details and group chats safe without sticking plastic over the device's display.
This innovation is likely powered by Flex Magic Pixel OLED technology, which Samsung Display first teased at MWC 2024.
The tech allows the display to adjust viewing angles on the fly, ensuring only the person looking directly at the phone sees the content.
The leaks claim that the coolest part is the automation. You can set the Galaxy S26 Ultra to trigger Privacy Display automatically when opening sensitive apps like Maybank2u or WhatsApp.
It can also kick in when entering your PIN or browsing your gallery in public spaces.
While some hope this becomes a standard feature across the Galaxy S26 lineup, experts believe it might remain exclusive to the Ultra model.
We will likely find out more when the series officially launches this year.
