It's designed for professionals, creatives, and anyone who wants a reliable everyday machine that can handle both work and entertainment.
With a strong battery life and modern port selection, it ticks many boxes — but it's not without its quirks.
The laptop comes in two screen sizes: 13-inch (priced at RM6,999) and 15-inch (RM7,499).
I recently had the opportunity to test out the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Luna Grey 15-inch version. Here's my review.
From the moment you pick it up, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition feels light yet sturdy
Weighing only 1.45kg, the laptop feels light and easy to carry around.

Weighing just 1.45kg and measuring 0.5 inches thick, it's incredibly slim for a 15-inch laptop, making it easy to slip into a bag.
The solid aluminium chassis gives it a premium feel, while its lightweight design offers flexibility for on-the-go use.
Binge-watching my favourite TV shows felt good thanks to its vibrant display.

The 15.3-inch IPS screen is a showstopper. With a 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800) and a 120Hz refresh rate, visuals are crisp, smooth, and vibrant.
It's perfect for watching films, editing photos, or simply scrolling through the web. It also reaches over 510 nits of brightness, so outdoor use isn't an issue.
Performance-wise, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition delivers very good speeds for everyday tasks and more demanding work

Whether you're juggling spreadsheets, streaming 4K videos, or editing images, this machine keeps up without breaking a sweat.
Even under stress, the fans remain quiet, which is a big plus for those working in shared spaces.
Battery life is another highlight. Lenovo promises around 13 hours of video playback, meaning you can get through a full workday without scrambling for a charger. And when you do need to plug in, the fast SSD storage and Type-C charging make for a smooth experience.
Sound is also great with this laptop.
Despite its strengths, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition isn't perfect
The RAM is soldered, so you won't be able to upgrade it later.
You'll have to decide between 16GB or 32GB of RAM at purchase. There's only one M.2 slot for storage, so if you need more space in the future, your upgrade options are limited.
Surprisingly, there's no fingerprint reader, which feels like a missed opportunity for a premium device.
That said, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is a fantastic all-rounder for those who want a lightweight, high-performing laptop with an excellent display

It handles work and entertainment with ease, offers long battery life, and has a solid build that feels premium.
Yes, the lack of upgradability, limited ports, and absence of a fingerprint reader are minor drawbacks. But if you can look past these, you're getting a well-balanced machine that delivers where it matters most.
For casual users, professionals, and creatives alike, this is a reliable choice that combines style, power, and portability.
