At the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Razer unveiled its latest innovation, Project AVA, a 3D holographic desk companion designed to bridge the gap between virtual AI and the physical world

Housed in a transparent enclosure, the device projects a 5.5-inch animated figure that serves as a highly personalised productivity assistant.

Here's what Project AVA can do:

Powering Project AVA's personality and logic is xAI's Grok model, though Razer has indicated that support for additional AI platforms may be added in the future.

Far from being a mere novelty, Project AVA is built for high-level productivity, capable of scheduling and analysing spreadsheets, using audio and visual cues to understand its physical surroundings, providing live translations and contextual assistance, and more.

At launch, users will be able to choose from five distinct avatar options

The most notable inclusion is Faker, the legendary League of Legends professional player, allowing fans to have the GOAT of esports as their personal assistant.

Other options include Ava (a stylised Razer logo), Kira, Zane, and Sao, the viral Japanese salarywoman who recently made headlines for her likeness to actress Sydney Sweeney.

While an official price tag has yet to be revealed, Razer confirmed that Project AVA is slated to begin shipping in the second half of 2026

Enthusiasts can currently secure their spot on the waitlist by placing a USD20 (RM81) deposit online.

This development follows a high-profile interaction last year when Elon Musk challenged Faker's team, T1, to a competition against Grok, a challenge the world-champion squad immediately accepted.

Project AVA now represents the first tangible commercial collaboration between these two cultural powerhouses.
