In fact, Panasonic's palm shaver range looks nothing like the bulky electric shavers we're familiar with. It's minimalist, modern, and portable, making it perfect for travelling or bringing on-the-go.
It comes in a few models, including the five-blade PV6A (white) and PV3A (black), as well as the three-blade CM3A (black, white, and violet).

Crafted from NAGORI ocean minerals, the PV6A features a one-of-a-kind marbled pattern while reducing plastic use by about 40%*.
Despite its compact size, it delivers a close, precise shave thanks to its premium five-blade system made with Japanese stainless steel.
Its palm-fitting design allows for fine control using the fingers and wrist, keeping your focus on exactly where you're shaving. Weighing only 145g (about 30% lighter than typical high-end models), it feels solid yet comfortable in hand, like a thoughtfully designed everyday tool.

We also got to try the three-blade CM3A, a more affordable version of Panasonic's palm shaver
The CM3A delivers a gentle yet close shave thanks to its 30° acute inner blades and powerful 39,000 cross-cutting actions per minute.
It's IPX7 waterproof, USB-C compatible, and has a comfortable slide-on design, a great option for guys who like things simple but effective.
After spending some time with Panasonic's Palm Shavers, I came away genuinely impressed by a grooming gadget that's not just functional, but also beautifully designed and portable
The attention to detail is what really stood out. The PV6A's marble-like NAGORI finish feels premium to the touch. It's smooth, cool, and subtly textured. Even the protective cover clicks shut with a magnetic snap that's oddly satisfying, the kind of small design moment that tells you real thought went into every detail.
As for the CM3A, it delivers most of the same great functions at a more accessible price point. Its slide-on, slide-off design gives it a playful, intuitive feel.
Final verdict: If you're looking to impress with a premium piece of craftsmanship, go for the PV6A. But if practicality and value are what you (or the guy you're gifting) care about most, the CM3A nails it without compromise.
