The Nothing Phone (2) will make its official release on 12 July

The event will be unveiled via livestream which can be accessed from the public on 12 July, 11pm in Malaysia. 

Nothing Founder Carl Pei stated that the upcoming device will also receive three years of Android updates and four years of security patches, as reported by GSMArena.

Aside from software updates, the Nothing Phone (2) will feature a tonne of upgrades in terms of hardware

From a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, to a 4,700mAh battery, the Nothing Phone 2 will feature an array of improvements across all fronts.

Nothing has also clarified that the Phone (2) will sport rounded sides, which is a change from the boxy look of the phone (1).
