New Yamaha Y16ZR Lands In Malaysia, Launches In Late January

Hong Leong Yamaha Motors recently launched the new Yamaha Y16ZR motorbike. The launch event was held in the bustling streets of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, attracting a massive crowd of onlookers, as they revealed the new Y16ZR.

The Y16ZR's facade looks highly aggressive and sportier than its predecessors, and it also comes with a new ABS module and bigger disc brakes.
The premium motorbike is powered by a 155cc VVA SOHC, four-stroke four-valve liquid-cooled engine generating 17.7hp at 9,500rpm. It's is paired with a six-speed gearbox for complete versatility on the roads.
For the rider's convenience, it's also equipped with a Smart Assist and Slipper clutch system for smoother gear shifts, as well as a modern LCD digital metre.

The Y16ZR is available in Violet Knight, Ocean Blue, and Mag Grey. All three colours come with the same specifications and features mentioned previously.

The new Yamaha Y16ZR will be priced at RM11,398, excluding registration and insurance. It will be available at Yamaha showrooms and authorised dealers at the end of January.
