Netflix is diving even further into the world of artificial intelligence, and this time, it's not just about what you're watching — it's how you find films and TV series to binge
The streaming giant has begun testing a new AI-powered search engine with select subscribers, Bloomberg reports.
Rather than simply typing in a title or actor, users can now search by mood, theme, or even natural language — a shift powered by none other than OpenAI, the minds behind ChatGPT.
It's a notable leap beyond the usual genre filters.

To be clear, AI isn't new to Netflix.
The platform has long relied on algorithms to suggest what you should watch next.

The tool is currently in limited testing on iOS for users in Australia and New Zealand — but only for those who opt in.
