Netflix Teams Up With OpenAI To Test AI-Powered Search That’ll Make You Binge More
The feature is set to be rolled out soon.
Netflix is diving even further into the world of artificial intelligence, and this time, it's not just about what you're watching — it's how you find films and TV series to binge
The streaming giant has begun testing a new AI-powered search engine with select subscribers, Bloomberg reports.

It's a notable leap beyond the usual genre filters.

Netflix appears aware of the sensitivities around AI in entertainment
It has previously assured creatives that it won't be replacing screenwriters or directors with code anytime soon.
The tool is currently in limited testing on iOS for users in Australia and New Zealand — but only for those who opt in.
A wider rollout, including markets like Malaysia, is expected soon.
