Malaysia's news aggregator mobile application Lumi News has been handpicked by Apple to be featured on the App Store
Apple reserves such recognition for apps that excel in user experience, design, innovation, and community relevance, highlighting the best apps and games loved by users across its platforms.
The feature for the homegrown app comes at a timely moment, coinciding with Malaysia's Hari Kebangsaan celebrations.
In a statement, Lumi News said that it works with over 100 trusted publishers and delivers content from the country's top media brands to more than 333,000 monthly active users.
