If you need a laptop that's both a gaming beast and a powerful workstation, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i should be on your radar
Lenovo's latest gaming cum workstation laptop packs Intel's newest processor and an Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti graphics card.
Its main attraction, however, is its 16-inch QHD+ OLED display.

With a 165Hz refresh rate and incredible HDR brightness, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i makes games and movies look stunningly vibrant and smooth, making it one of the best screens at its RM10,343 price point
Under the hood, the combination of an Intel Core Ultra 275HX processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD handles everything from intense gaming to 4K video editing without any lag.
The Lenovo AI Engine+ also intelligently manages power to ensure you get the maximum frames per second.
However, the laptop isn't perfect.

When you push the graphics card to its limits, the cooling fans get noticeably loud, so a good noise-cancelling headset is recommended for gaming sessions
Battery life is also average, meaning you'll likely need to stay plugged in.
Other minor issues include having all the ports on the sides, which can lead to messy cables, and a chassis that easily attracts fingerprints.
It's also surprising that it comes with Wi-Fi 6 instead of a newer standard, considering its price.

Despite these drawbacks, the Legion Pro 5i is a fantastic all-rounder
For its current discounted price of RM9,186.75, you get a machine with a brilliant screen and top-tier performance that excels at both work and play, making it a solid investment.
