They've also launched their own startup called Minedu AI.

Mohammad Parsa Parhizkar, 12, and his younger brother Mohammad Rohan, 9, won gold and the 'Best Young Inventor Excellence Award (Primary Level)' at the World Young Invention Exhibition, held during ITEX 2025.
The duo from SK Putrajaya Presint 8-1 beat out over 140 young inventors from 55 schools nationwide and abroad.
They built a clever invention called Minedu AI, an educational plugin for Minecraft that integrates artificial intelligence into the game.
Minedu AI is designed to follow Malaysia's primary school syllabus, teaching subjects like Science, Biology and Geography through interactive gameplay

Powered by Google's Gemini AI, the tool observes how students play and offers personalised feedback via a chatbot that feels more like a companion than a tutor.
According to the YouTube announcement video of their initiative, both kids shared their love for Minecraft and want to make learning fun and better for other children who already enjoy the game.
"We have developed a plugin that connects Gemini directly to Minecraft, transforming the game into a living, breathing, learning environment by creating an AI tutor inside the Minecraft game," one of the brothers said.
Kids can then engage the AI tutor with simple text commands like '/ask, /explain', /define, or /quiz'. It will then provide a step-by-step explanation inside the game.
There are also interactive science missions like exploring ecosystems, building models of organs or solving biology puzzles, all guided by virtual NPC (non-playable characters) teachers.
With support from Google Malaysia, both brothers launched their own company — also called Minedu AI — making them among the youngest founders in the country

Their invention is already generating income through plugin licensing and AI workshops for students, with pilot programmes rolling out in local schools.
Both kids are also planning to enhance students' experience further by introducing voice-based AI interactions and also expanding into other subjects like physics and chemistry.
They're also working on multiplayer collaboration modes alongside localised language support for diverse communities. There will also be a teacher dashboard with detailed students analytics.
