JETOUR Malaysia officially launched the all-new JETOUR T2; a robust SUV designed to bridge the gap between urban functionality and off-road capability
Unveiled on 13 March, the vehicle arrives with the bold tagline "Dare to Dominate", targeting a growing segment of Malaysian drivers who prioritise both a commanding road presence and genuine utility.
The T2 has more than enough power under the hood
Under the bonnet, the JETOUR T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct injection (TGDi) engine that delivers a stout 180kW of power and 375Nm of torque, providing relevant top speed and instant acceleration for most uses.
This performance is managed by a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (7DCT) and the proprietary Intelligent XWD system.
The drivetrain is specifically engineered for versatility, offering 7+X drive modes that automatically adjust torque distribution based on the immediate terrain, ensuring stability whether the driver is navigating heavy Kuala Lumpur traffic or exploring unpaved rural paths.
On the outside, the T2 looks exquisite by today's standards
Visually, the T2 adopts a distinctive "boxy" silhouette characterised by muscular proportions and an upright stance.
Key exterior elements include automatic LED headlamps, an illuminated "JETOUR" signature, and a rear-mounted spare tyre that emphasises its rugged DNA.
For added convenience, the vehicle features an electric suction back door, which simplifies access to the cargo area during daily errands.
On the inside, the car feels futuristic and luxurious
Inside the cabin, the focus shifts toward modern refinement; it is equipped with a 15.6-inch multimedia display, wireless smartphone integration, and a premium 12-speaker SONY audio system.
To combat the local tropical climate, JETOUR has included ventilated leatherette seats and a panoramic sunroof to enhance the interior's sense of space.
Safety remains a paramount focus for the manufacturer, as evidenced by the SUV's 5-Star ASEAN NCAP rating
The T2 comes standard with six SRS airbags and a Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS).
A 360-degree Panoramic View Monitoring System with a "transparent chassis" feature allows drivers to see obstacles directly beneath the vehicle, which is particularly useful during technical off-road manoeuvres.
Priced at RM156,800, the JETOUR T2 is supported by an extensive 7-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, alongside a 10-year or 1,000,000km powertrain warranty to ensure long-term peace of mind
As an introductory incentive, the first 3,000 customers to register their vehicles will receive a RM2,000 cash rebate.
Beyond automotive sales, JETOUR Malaysia also signaled its commitment to environmental responsibility by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia during the launch proceedings.
