Malaysian Google Chrome users now have direct access to Gemini within the browser
The "Ask Gemini" button is a new feature built into the browser and enables a seamless AI experience without the need to switch between tabs.
Google said the button is placed in the top right corner of the window. A single click opens a side panel, allowing users to query the chatbot about content on their screen.
The interface is not limited to basic chat.

Users can now integrate Google Calendar and Gmail to manage schedules and inboxes without leaving their active page
Gemini handles tasks like summarising long-winded emails or drafting quick replies directly in the browser.
It also functions across multiple tabs, assisting with deep research, price comparisons, and heavy study sessions.
To access the feature, users need to update the Google Chrome browser to the latest version
Once updated, the new browsing experience will become available with just a single click.
However, SAYS Tech discovered that not all Chrome users in the country have access to the feature as of publication.
Users of Apple devices, especially MacBooks, and older Windows devices reportedly have not received the update.
