Alphabet chief executive officer (CEO) Sundar Pichai has cautioned against relying completely on artificial intelligence (AI) tools
In a recent interview with the BBC, Pichai warned that people should not "blindly trust" everything AI tells them, adding that current models are "prone to errors".
He urged users to use AI alongside other sources of information, noting that Google takes pride in its work to provide accurate information.
While AI tools are useful for creative tasks, users must learn to use these tools for what they're good at.

The warning comes as Google rolls out its consumer AI model, Gemini 3.0, in products like its Search function's 'AI Mode'
Pichai also addressed the booming AI industry, which has seen a huge increase in the value of tech companies.
He acknowledged the rapid growth as an "extraordinary moment", but admitted there are "elements of irrationality" in the market, likening it to the dot-com era.

The Google CEO cautioned that no company, including Alphabet, would be immune if the AI bubble were to burst
He compared the situation to the Internet boom, where excessive investment was clear, but the technology itself proved profound.
Echoing the financial concerns, Jamie Dimon, the chair and CEO of Wall Street bank JPMorgan Chase, recently issued a warning about the US stock market.
Dimon, the head of America's largest bank, said he was "far more worried than others" about a serious market correction, which he expects in the next six months to two years.
