Dyson has officially introduced its latest innovation to the Malaysian market with the debut of the HushJet Mini Cool Fan
This launch marks a significant milestone for the technology giant, representing its first foray into the portable handheld fan segment after 17 years of dedicated research into airflow engineering.
Engineered specifically for individuals on the move, the device offers a versatile cooling solution that functions as a handheld unit, a stationary desk fan, or a hands-free wearable accessory.
Weighing a mere 212g, the device is designed to be lightweight without compromising on performance
It features a robust battery that provides up to six hours of continuous cooling, making it a practical companion for the local tropical climate.
At the heart of the HushJet Mini Cool Fan lies a high-speed brushless DC motor that reaches 65,000 RPM — a speed that allows it to generate a powerful airflow of up to 25m/s. For comparison, other similar brands only manage to go up to 9,700 RPM and produce an airflow of up to 17m/s.
Users can navigate through five adjustable speed settings, including a high-intensity Boost mode designed to provide immediate relief during peak afternoon heat or crowded commutes.
Precision engineering remains a hallmark of this new release
The fan incorporates a 38mm diameter design, a specific measurement previously seen in the brand's iconic Supersonic hair dryer and the PencilVac.
This compact architecture ensures the device remains portable while maintaining maximum efficiency.
Dyson has also prioritised acoustic comfort by implementing specialised tuning to dampen high-pitched mechanical whirring. This results in what the brand describes as "pitch-perfect cooling", allowing the fan to operate discreetly in quiet environments such as offices or libraries.
The fan will come in three distinct two-tone colour palettes
These include the vibrant Ink/Cobalt, the bold Carnelian/Sky, and the pearl-inspired Stone/Blush.
To enhance versatility, Dyson includes several accessories as standard, such as a Neck Dock for hands-free use, a Charging Stand, a USB-C cable, and a protective Travel Pouch. Additional optional mounts are also available for those wishing to attach the fan to prams or bags.
While the specific retail pricing for the Malaysian market has yet to be confirmed, the company has indicated that the HushJet Mini Cool Fan will be available for purchase locally in the near future
