Dyson recently introduced two new vacuum cleaners to the Malaysian market: the V16 Piston Animal and the PencilVac, the latter being claimed as their slimmest yet
The latest Dyson products are proving to be a fantastic addition to any household. At a product demo attended by SAYS, both new models left a strong impression. While each has its own distinct strengths, we found them to be impressive overall.
The V16 Piston Animal is powered by a Hyperdymium 900W motor that generates a powerful 315AW of suction
Its new Floor Cones Sense cleaner head features dual anti-tangle conical rollers and a laser light to reveal fine dust particles. The cleaner head has been redesigned to fit different floor types for optimal cleaning. The model is equipped with a large 1.3L compressible dustbin and a compressor lever system for easy and hygienic emptying.
The vacuum also comes with a long wand and a crevice tool, along with the updated Hair Screw Tool 2.0, a great accessory for cleaning pet beds, cars, and stairs.
Built-in LCDs show dust and debris levels in real-time, while the MyDyson app enables users to track cleaning data and adjust settings. Dyson says the vacuum offers a substantial runtime of up to 70 minutes per charge, with a recharge time of just 3.5 hours.
Meanwhile, the new Dyson PencilVac is engineered for portability and slimness, making it ideal for smaller living spaces and easy storage
It weighs just 1.8kg, with a handle only 38mm and the ability to flatten to 9mm to reach under furniture.
The vacuum's Hyperdymium 140k motor delivers up to 55AW suction, capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns, while its Fluffycones brush and 360-degree swivelling head with an LED light are designed for effective cleaning.
The battery provides up to 30 minutes of use, and users can customise settings through the MyDyson app.

Both the Dyson V16 Piston Animal and the PencilVac are available now in Malaysia. The V16 is priced at RM4,099, while the PencilVac is RM2,799.
