A female-only sim racing category is set to headline the Unleashed Youth Simracing Championship 2025
The event, taking place at Sunway Pyramid from 15 to 17 August, is organised by Cove Circuit with title sponsors, Castrol, and Toyota Gazoo Racing Malaysia as the official automotive partner.
Open to participants aged 18 to 24, this groundbreaking tournament is being billed as more than just a game; it is a cultural movement. It aims to fuse speed, style, and self-expression into a high-octane youth experience that celebrates identity, inclusion, and holistic wellbeing.
A total of 329 participants have registered for the championship so far
If you're feeling the need for speed, registration is still open, especially for the female category. With up to RM30,000 in cash prizes, jumping into this competition is a no-brainer.
The final qualifying rounds for the male category are set to take place this weekend, 9 and 10 August. While there will also be qualifying sessions for the female category this weekend, the last-chance qualifiers will be held on Friday, 15 August, at the main venue in Sunway Pyramid.
Another event highlight is the Celebrity Simracing Showdown, featuring popular artistes such as Kidd Santhe, Ismail Izzani, and Yonnyboii. All this and more will take place at the Orange Concourse in Sunway Pyramid.
