Adobe’s AI Agents Can Edit Your Photos & Videos With Just One Click
Meet Adobe's "creative agents".
Adobe is about to make editing in Photoshop and Premiere Pro significantly smarter — and simpler — by introducing AI-driven agents designed to suggest and carry out edits for you
Unveiled in a blog post by Ely Greenfield, Adobe's Chief Technology Officer for digital media, these "creative agents" are built to understand context and user intent.
In Photoshop, the AI will appear in a new floating Actions panel, analysing your image before offering intelligent suggestions

Suggestions include removing background passersby or blurring everything but your subject to create depth. One click, and the edit is done.
Adobe envisions users interacting with these agents using natural language — simply type what you want to do.
In a demo, a user asked the agent to "replace the sky" in a photo of two people walking in a European city. Instantly, the AI offered a step-by-step breakdown and executed the transformation, all while keeping the traditional Photoshop layer system intact for further manual tweaks.
On the video front, Premiere Pro is getting its own smart assistant
Building on last week's Media Intelligence rollout, Adobe is developing agents that will not only locate footage based on content but also help with rough cuts, colour correction, audio balancing, and even scene selection.
Editors can direct the agent with simple prompts and watch as complex edits unfold with ease.
These new tools won't replace human creativity, Adobe says — but they will offer a huge head start. The first Photoshop AI agent will debut at Adobe Max in London on 24 April.
