In Maranello, Italy, cash is only half the battle
Owning a Prancing Horse is like being part of an extremely posh, extremely strict country club. If you break the house rules — like messing with the paint or making the brand look bad on Instagram — the bouncer will show you the door.
Ferrari doesn't have an official "blacklist" pinned to a wall, but it's an open secret in the car world.
As of 2026, the list of celebrities who are persona non grata at Ferrari dealerships continues to grow.
Here are five of the biggest names who allegedly can't get their hands on a limited-edition Ferrari anymore.
1. Justin Bieber

Back in 2011, Justin Bieber bought a white 458 Italia, then decided to personalise it.
He took it to West Coast Customs, where it was fitted with a wide-body kit and wrapped in a loud electric blue. Even the colour of the iconic Prancing Horse logo on the steering wheel was changed.
All these are big no-no's for Ferrari owners.

Bieber also once lost the car for three weeks after a night of partying in Los Angeles, and eventually auctioned it off without Ferrari's permission.
2. 50 Cent
When rapper 50 Cent's Ferrari 488 GTB's battery ran flat, he didn't just call a tow truck. He posted a photo of the car on a flatbed to his millions of followers, calling it a "f***ing lemon" and joking about trading it in for a Toyota.
Publicly calling out the brand's reliability may have earned him a spot on the infamous "blacklist".

3. Deadmau5
This is arguably the most famous ban in automotive history.
Canadian DJ Deadmau5 wrapped his 458 Spider in a "Nyan Cat" theme, complete with a pixelated cat and rainbow trails. He even renamed it the "Purrari" and replaced the Ferrari badges with custom cat logos.
This resulted in him receiving a cease and desist letter from Ferrari's legal team, who argued that the custom badges were a trademark infringement.
Deadmau5 eventually stripped the wrap, but the damage was done.

4. Floyd Mayweather

Reports suggest Ferrari expects owners to keep their cars for at least a year to prevent flipping. Meanwhile, Mayweather allegedly sold his cars just months after buying them.
This has led to rumours of him now being unable to purchase new Ferraris from official dealers, despite being able to afford more than one car.

5. Kim Kardashian
According to reports, Kim Kardashian is on the restricted list because of how she obtained her first Ferrari. In 2011, she reportedly received a white 458 Italia as a wedding gift from a "mysterious" Malaysian businessman, who later turned out to be Jho Low.
Because the car was tied to the 1MDB financial scandal, it brought a lot of negative publicity to the brand.

While the socialite can still buy "regular" Ferraris, she reportedly won't be getting invites for the exclusive, multi-million dollar special editions like the LaFerrari or the new Daytona SP3.
