In an article that appeared at the [Manila Standard](http://thestandard.com.ph/lifestyle/arts-life/219652/grupo-kwadro-mounts-1st-group-exhibit.html) , Cadid was quoted saying:
"What makes Grupo Kwadro unique is that it is born out of friendship; and we wanted to keep it that way. The passion for creating works of art just comes second, though it is also equally important in the development of Kwadro." Kwadro was founded September of last year.
The house at the No. 3 Purdue Street in Cubao, Quezon City has become the cradle of that friendship, being glued and fortified further by their passionate love for the visual arts.
Hanging on the immaculate white walls of the Art Center are the lovely works of Cee Cadid, Nemi Miranda, Remy Boquiren, Jun Martinez, Bing Siochi, Roland Santos, Nik Masangcay, Andy Urag, Vic Bachoco, Roy Espinosa, Raks Molata, Liza Villaseñor, Andy Pernia, Cesar Del Mundo, Naning Molata Gavin, Lucipinio Ng, Esther Garcia, Liza Oppus and Marlyn Aquino.
The said exhibit was well-attended!
The guests of honor are His Honorable Undersecretary Luis M. C. Pañgulayan of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and the Bahay-Kubo ng Sining (BAKUSI) founding chair, Chona de Robles but unfortunately, Mrs. De Robles did not make it due to some unavoidable circumstances.
