Bet you've never seen something like this! 😉
Cover image via fbcdn.netFilipino painter and sculptor Eman Mediana Santos recently mounted his 11th solo exhibit at the contemporary art hub, The Artologist Gallery in Greenhills, San Juan City. The art gallery is owned by husband and wife, Ron and Bambi De Castro.
Titled "Radiance of Nature," the exhibit opened last June 18th and it was well-attended!
In this exhibit, Santos has proven that PVC pipes are not only for plumbing but for arts too! Santos had used PVC pipes, bottles, and glass bowls to create wonderful lamps that you want to bring and display in your own home.
The above artworks were inspired by Santos' paintings called "Trees Series."
Aside from his gorgeous functional artworks, he has also shown his painting prowess.
Here are the other artworks of Santos:
Almost half of his works were collected by foreign collectors. Awesome! Most of the time, there are things that we easily ignore because we cannot see its beauty. But by looking at Santos' works, you will realize that even those ignorable things can be transformed into something beautiful and magical.
Thinking of visiting? The Artologist is located at 81 Xavier St., Unit 203, Xavier Residences, San Juan City. The show runs until June 28, 2016.
