This is Stephen Lee, a former professional snooker player who was once the world's number 5 before being banned for 12 years for match fixing

Despite the ban, Lee still has a strong following here and was recently in Malaysia to be part of an event organised by a local snooker outlet

But the show was stolen by this Malaysian kid who goes by the name of Jeremy Chai

A video, uploaded on Facebook of him playing against the former world number 5, went viral with close to half a million views. What exactly happened?

Jeremy starts the break, before potting the first ball easily… He even got the nod of approval from Stephen!

He goes on a roll, placing the cue ball perfectly to set up his next shot

Stephen too had his moments, showing that his skills hasn't diminished despite the ban

But the video was all about Jeremy, making crazy shots like this

Towards the end of the game, Jeremy faced an almost impossible shot given his body size. Climbing over the table, he showed steady hands by pocketing the green ball with ease…

With that shot out of the way, he pocketed the brown ball…

… followed by the blue ball as he carefully places the cue ball to align it for the next shot

He pockets the pink ball, drawing a round of applause from the crowd

It's time to pocket the black ball and although Jeremy barely misses, the crowd doesn't care. He's the people's hero!

At the end of the game, it was all smiles as both Stephen and Jeremy posed for a picture

Maybe it's time to switch to snooker since being a basketball fan in Malaysia is kinda sad…
