Although it's still unavailable in the Philippines, Filipinos are stalking news feeds hoping for that much-awaited Pokénews

The obvious insta-fame of this game led YouTube vlogger [Karim Metwaly] (https://www.facebook.com/KarimFanPage/) of the channel, [Are We Famous Now] (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGEAiAm7pBLTW2n3XSsE0JA), to make a social experiment

**He noticed how people are getting crazy over this game that some run out of their cars just to catch a Pokémon.**

He also admitted that it might be a dangerous game for kids.

"As much as it's fun, there are some dangers that come along with Pokémon GO that you should be aware of," said Metwaly.

What are these dangers, you ask?

"The biggest danger are the Poké Stops. These are specific points in the game where you can get more items. Some Poké Stops, though, are in dangerous areas. In these Poké Stops, you could add items like 'Lure Module' which attract Pokémon, thus attracting players. And when that happens, it can get really crowded," added Metwaly.

**But the dangerous part?**

"It can get unsafe for young kids who don't have lure modules. So, they get attracted to these areas that have them. So with that in mind, we went to secluded and dangerous areas and planted lure modules to see what happens."

Quartz reporter Jenny Anderson wrote an [article] (http://qz.com/738402/why-i-wont-let-my-kids-play-pokemon-go/) last week entitled, "Why I won't let my kids play Pokémon Go", in which she stated:

"Like most kids, my 5- and 7-year-old girls love all things digital and they love any kind of outdoor adventure. But once I introduce Pokémon, I can't un-introduce it," said Anderson.

Just like what happens when you're constantly playing virtual games, it will become, eventually, addictive. "It will become permanently lodged on our what-to-do dashboard. **It will become the thing to do, when they have plenty of other things to do like riding bikes, making up games, and wrestling with each other until someone cries.** What they need to do is play," added Anderson.
