Cover image via ReutersAs Malaysians paid their full attention to Peng Soon-Liu Ying's much anticipated finals last night, our diving queens Pandelela Rinong and Nur Dhabitah Sabri have safely made it to the semi-finals of the women's 10m platform dive event!
**Out of a field of 28, Pandelela finished sixth with 332.45 over the five rounds of dives, while Nur Dhabitah was just two places behind with 325.85.** The preliminaries took place on 17 August at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre.
Both divers performed consistently throughout their routines, with four dives that were above the 60-point mark

Pandelela scored **72.00, 65.25, 73.60, 52.80, 68.80**, with the third dive putting her in third place. She fell to the fifth place after the fourth dive but managed to climb up to the sixth position.
As for Nur Dhabitah, she scored **72.00, 41.60, 75.90, 64.35, 72.00**, with the second dive putting her at risk of elimination. However, she redeemed herself with an amazing third dive.
